Running it back

Our focus at Back to Back is to provide a friendly and inviting, neighborhood atmosphere to the warm folks of Nob Hill.

 

Our family has been part of the neighborhood for three generations, beginning with our grandmother who ran a laundromat at Polk and Post and was the first to dream of owning a restaurant. Our parents, Beatrice and Harry, later opened a restaurant in this very space over 30 years ago. Now, we – siblings Randall and Monica – are incredibly excited and proud to run it Back (to Back). This time, we are bringing together many of our passions, including memorable and comforting food, unique and delicious wines, music of all sorts, and hospitality that matches the warmth of our beloved neighborhood.
